2013 Recap

So It's been awhile since I've posted. I've pretty much set up shop on tumblr but still would like to spot here, just not at often. So I am giving a recap of a series I've worked on over the past year or so at a fun life drawing session in Brooklyn called drink n draw. Enjoy and you can now find my newer work here: http://esotericbox.tumblr.com/

Octopussy Realness

So I've joined the bandwagon and created some Needles fan art. I went with a sketch from her last look on the runway. I had to go for it since it was the first look I saw of her initially, in the trailer previews for the show. That shot of her opening her eyes and wiggling her tentacles across her face, I knew I would be a fan. So I did my rendition of her look, enjoy ~

Love Fool

Mural Mural on the wall

So it's been quite some time since I've last posted. This being my new post for the year I decided to put up pics of a mural I made for my room closet doors. It's been officially a year since I've moved into this new apartment so I wanted to commemorate the event by adding art to my monotone room with monotone art- hahah. *mind the mirror reflections.

Comic Origins

In preparation of the upload for my full length conic book "The Gifted" I've decided to show some of my past comic style work. Now I really don't do much fan work but for some reason I did this Superman pic back in high school. I based it off of the classic Bruce Tim look I really enjoy.

These next pics are the evolution of a past comic idea I had- about a young witch wielding vast powers she would ultimately need to use to save the world through sacrificing herself.

This is some random stuff I really liked- mosnters...

Intro

So I've decided to start a blog featuring some of my works and interests. Hopefully I get a scanner soon to update my sketches more frequently. I'm really big on character design and collaged style artwork.

So here are some sketches from a awhile ago, enjoy.
